Summer heat will soon interrupt taste of fall weather in Metro Detroit

Temperatures gradually warm through early next week

4WARN WEATHER – The summer heat will soon return to interrupt this taste of fall weather we’ve been enjoying in Metro Detroit.

We will be going from sweaters to swimsuits this week. It’s a chillier start across the metro area, as temperatures are in the 50s and winds will stay breezy.

If you thought Monday felt like fall, this will be the coolest day of the workweek.

The A/C can remain off Tuesday. It will be party sunny as we top out on either side of 70 degrees. Winds will be gusty, around 20-25 mph.

Sunset is at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday. At night, we will drop to around 50 under partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures will gradually warm each day though the weekend and into early next week. In fact, we will rise close to 90 by Sunday and Monday, so pool days aren’t behind us, yet.

This is also a great time to get the car washed. There’s not a drop of rain in sight as we remain dry over the next seven days.
