Smoky start on Wednesday with warming temperatures

Moderate air quality concerns around the Detroit area

4WARN WEATHER – Smell smoke? A mulch fire in Detroit has lead to poorer Air Quality across Metro Detroit this morning from the smoke. Otherwise, it’s a chilly start to the day with some of the suburbs starting in the 40s.

A gradual warming trend takes place starting today through the rest of the week.

Sunrise: 6:48 a.m.

High pressure builds in across the Great Lakes today bringing us sunshine which will help warm us into the mid-70s this afternoon.

Sunset: 8:24 p.m.

Clear nights will support cool overnight lows through Thursday. 80s return by late week with a more humid airmass arriving late weekend.

Temperatures will flirt with 90 by Sunday through early next week with not a drop of rain over the next seven days.
