Seasonal Thursday in Metro Detroit with a hot and humid weekend ahead

Moderate air quality concerns around the Detroit area continue

4WARN WEATHER – We’re waking up to moderate air quality again across Southeast Michigan.

Sunny skies with seasonal highs on either side of 80 to round out the work week.

Sunrise is at 6:49 a.m. and sunset is at 8:23 p.m.

High pressure sinks south and allows for a southerly flow of air to warm us up today, but also brings us clear skies.

Don’t forget the sunglasses and sunscreen! Highs in the upper 70s.

Clear nights will support cool overnight lows through Thursday. We climb above average this weekend and beyond. A more humid airmass arrives this weekend into early next week.

Temperatures will flirt with 90 by Sunday through Tuesday as we continue a mainly stretch.
