Parts of Metro Detroit under marginal risk of severe storms Wednesday

Cold front brings chance for showers, thunderstorms on Friday

4Warn Weather – Cooler to our north today, not as hot across the far southeast Michigan, but still warm and muggy.

Lower end chances for widely scattered showers or a thunderstorm today. There is a marginal risk of severe storms south of I-94, but we could see storms develop this afternoon and evening across the metro area, but not as likely to reach severe limits.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s today.

Sunrise is at 6:55 a.m. and sunset is at 8:13 p.m.

Dry tomorrow with near average temperatures around 80. A cold front will bring a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Temperatures will gradually cool through the holiday weekend with highs on Labor Day in the low 70s.
