Weather whiplash: Feeling like July today and October this weekend

Cold front brings scattered showers and non-severe thunderstorms overnight

4Warn Weather – It’s another cool start, but not quite as cold as the last few mornings. We have officially entered “wear a sweater in the morning and regret it in the afternoon” season.

Sunrise is at 7:03 a.m.

Our weather stays dry again today with rising temperatures back into the low to mid-80s. Plenty of sunshine today with clouds rolling in late ahead of an approaching cold front.

Sunset is at 7:59 p.m.

The Friday morning cold front brings scattered showers and non-severe thunderstorms overnight through Friday afternoon. We can’t rule out a lingering stray shower for high school football, but most Friday night games should be mainly dry.

Then much cooler weather settles in to start the weekend with a chance of showers in the Thumb on Saturday. Dig out the sweatshirts, flannel and fleece! We will be breezy across the area on Saturday and Sunday while feeling like October with highs in the 60s.

We bounce back into the 70s with sunshine early next week.
