SATURDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. A chilly overnight. Low: 45. Winds: Northwest 5-10 MPH.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies, continued cool. Low: 53. Winds: Southwest 5-10 MPH.

After our cold front rolled through the region Thursday and into Friday, we ended the day with some sunshine on Friday, and we will keep some of that sunshine into the forecast looking ahead into the end of the weekend.

For Saturday, with that low-pressure system working off to the east and high-pressure building in off to the west, we are going to keep the chance of a few stray showers into the forecast, especially up into the thumb, otherwise it will be a cool and fall-like day. High temperatures heading into the low 60s by Saturday afternoon.

Mainly clear skies can be expected overnight Saturday night to Sunday morning as high-pressure builds into the region. Overnight lows dropping into the 40s, but there could be some places outside of the metro that see the upper 30s by Sunday morning.

We will keep Sunshine into the forecast through the end of the weekend on Sunday, with a little cloud cover as well. Temperatures about 10° warmer by the time we get to Sunday, high temperatures heading into the lower 70s by Sunday afternoon.

We keep the dry weather into the forecast looking ahead into the majority of next week. Expect a little more cloud cover by the time we get to Monday, but some sunshine will be sticking around as well. High temperatures heading for right around the 80° mark by Monday afternoon.

Plenty of sunshine can be expected Tuesday all the way through the end of the week on Friday. High temperatures warming back into the low 80s on Tuesday, then heading for the mid to upper 80s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday thanks to a strong southerly flow. High-pressure will firmly control the forecast, keeping the dry weather around all the way through the end of the week.
