Saturday night will be cold, but the weather will be hot next week.
Some Southeast Michigan communities will see temperatures tumble into the upper 30s on Saturday night, but most of the area will fall into the 40- to 45-degree range. Expect overnight lows around 40 degrees in Ann Arbor, Howell, Lapeer, and Sandusky. It will be around 45 degrees in Detroit, Westland, Taylor, Royal Oak, Warren, and Port Huron. Winds will be out the northwest at 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.
Sunday
Game Day, also known as Sunday, will have comfortable and slightly warmer weather. It will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 70s. Temperatures will be back into the 60s during the evening. Lions tailgaters will want to take a jacket to Downtown Detroit. Westerly winds will be 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
A few clouds will develop Sunday night as temperatures tumble to the upper 40s to lower 50s for most of the region.
Monday
Monday will see the return of normal temperatures. Highs will be around 80 degrees in Metro Detroit. While it will be partly cloudy, there is the chance of a few showers in the morning. Lows will be in the lower to mid 50s.
Rest of Week
From Tuesday through the end of the week, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies, with highs in the lower to mid 80s. Lows will go from the 50s to the 60s.
