Patchy dense fog in Metro Detroit ahead of a summer sizzler

Warmest Day of the Week.

4Warn Weather – Thursday is going to be a hot one in Metro Detroit, but we begin with more visibility issues in the morning.

Some patchy dense fog has redeveloped early Thursday morning, but daybreak will allow for this fog to quickly burn off.

This is the warmest day of the week under mostly sunny skies, with highs in the mid- to upper 80s. We could see some patchy dense fog develop again tonight into tomorrow morning.

Sunset is at 7:47 p.m. Thursday.

Summer is holding on tight! Seasonally warm and dry conditions continue through the rest of the week and the weekend, as highs remain in the 80s well into next week.
