After a hot Thursday with a lot of sunshine, Southeast Michigan will have a pleasant night. Temperatures will fall to the lower 60s, except for lows in the mid to upper 50s in the Thumb and Ann Arbor. Skies will be mostly clear, but there is a chance of patchy fog developing overnight.
Friday
There will be a few areas of patchy fog during Friday morning’s commute. Any fog should be gone by 10 a.m. Otherwise, expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.
The evening will also be pleasant in Metro Detroit. The Local 4 Game of the Week features West Bloomfield vs. Rochester Adams. Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will be in the mid-70s for the 7 p.m. kickoff.
Friday night will be partly cloudy with patches of fog. Lows will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Weekend forecast
The dry, warm stretch will continue into the weekend. It will be great for tailgaters or anyone looking to go to a cider mill or orchard. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Both days will have a chance of early morning fog. Highs will be in the lower to mid 80s, and lows will be in the lower 80s. The normal high is in the mid 70s.
Workweek
The upcoming workweek looks to be warm and mostly dry, with a slight chance of showers on Wednesday. Highs will be around 80 degrees, and lows will be in the lower to mid-60s.
