The weekend’s wonderful weather rolls into the workweek in Metro Detroit.
The light wildfire smoke is giving Southeast Michigan vibrant sunrises and sunsets due to the smoke scattering light. You may notice that the sun appears more orange or red than usual at certain times.
Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows around 60 degrees. Patchy fog will be possible late.
Monday
Monday morning will see areas of patchy fog. Otherwise, it will be mostly sunny with above normal warmth. Highs will be in the lower 80s. [Average highs are in the mid 70s.]
Under mostly clear skies, nighttime temperatures will fall to around 60 degrees.
Tuesday

Wednesday
Wednesday is likely to be mostly cloudy and a few degrees cooler. Clouds from the remnants of Francine will make their way into Southeast Michigan. A stray shower from the system cannot be ruled out, but most of the moisture will stay to the south and east of Michigan. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s, and lows will be in the lower 60s.
Thursday
Thursday will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s to 80 degrees. Lows will be around 60 degrees.
