Warm Wednesday in Metro Detroit -- Will fall ever arrive?

Pockets of shallow fog possible through morning commute

4Warn Weather – Drought continues to take hold of the Midwest. We have another chance for patchy, isolated fog around daybreak, but minimal. Fog is more prevalent Wednesday morning just west of Lenawee County along the state line.

It’s slightly warmer this morning with most areas waking up on either side of 60. Partly cloudy on Sept. 18 with highs in the low 80s in the afternoon.

Sunset will be at 7:37 p.m.

Highs will be in the low to mid-80s throughout the rest of the week into the weekend. Clouds increase Friday with our next chance of light rain possible Friday night, although not everyone will likely see it. Until we get a nice dose of rain, ragweed and dust will remain high across the area affecting allergy sufferers. Also, the warm and dry weather could lead to muted fall colors and a delay in the color change this season.
