Saturday sizzler with seasonal 70s around the corner

Warm conditions continue through weekend

4Warn Weather – Areas of dense fog will persist across the region through about 8 a.m. or 9 a.m.

Just a friendly reminder to leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you if you take to the roads early today. The fog is more prominent in our north and western communities, especially Livingston county.

Sunrise is at 7:20 a.m.

Above average temperatures return today. High pressure brings dry conditions as well. Highs will likely top out in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies. If you are heading out to the Michigan game, plan for summer heat and apply the sunscreen.

Sunset is at 7:31 p.m.

Highs will stay in the 80s through Sunday. We will end a likely 14-day stretch of 80s on Monday. The first half of Sunday will be dry, but the potential for showers and thunderstorms will increase from Sunday afternoon into Sunday night.

These will likely not reach severe limits. More seasonable conditions return early next week, with another chance of rain Tuesday as temperatures slide into more seasonable 70s through the work week.
