Rain moves into Metro Detroit Tuesday, but not enough to make up for an extremely dry month

Tuesday, Wednesday highs in lower 70s

We had an outside shot at a stray shower Wednesday, but Monday’s data just doesn’t support it. It looks like we might see some high, thin clouds but no moisture to water our lawns. (Copyright 2024 by WDIV ClickOnDetroit - All rights reserved.)

4Warn Weather – Rain moves in Tuesday, but not nearly enough to make up for an extremely dry month.

So far this month, we have had .3” of rain, but we should have over 2.5” by now.

Overnight skies will be cloudy with lows, which will stay around 60 degrees.

There will be a few scattered showers throughout Tuesday.

But it doesn’t look like an entire day of soaking rain, which we could use. When it’s not raining, highs stay in the upper 60s to low 70s with cloudy skies.

The rest of the week looks dry, with a mix of clouds and sun each day. It will be a touch warmer, with highs around 75 degrees.

We are also tracking the tropics as a major hurricane could hit Florida by Thursday. See you at 11 p.m.
