Seasonable stretch in Metro Detroit to end September

Rain chances return this weekend

4Warn Weather – A misty morning with low lying clouds. Seasonable conditions expected through the rest of the week and the weekend.

Morning cloud cover will hopefully break a little this afternoon with highs in the mid-70s. A few sprinkles or spotty slight showers remain possible Wednesday. Drier conditions develop Thursday and continue into Friday.

Sunset is at 7:24 p.m.

Attention shifts to Helene expected to become a major hurricane before making landfall in the big bend of Florida sometime Thursday. Southeast Michigan could potentially see some of the remnant moisture from this system over the upcoming weekend. We will continue to fine tune that forecast after landfall.
