4Warn Weather – After a few rain showers on Wednesday and plenty of cloud cover, some of us saw a little bit of sunshine as we worked through the end of the day.
With drier weather, we will work into the region, looking ahead to the end of the week.
Through the overnight hours tonight, expect decreasing clouds, with mainly clear skies expected toward sunrise Thursday morning. Overnight lows drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Over the next couple of days, high pressure will build in and help control the forecast.

That means we will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout Thursday before more cloud cover works toward the end of the week.
High temperatures will remain out of the 70s through the end of the week.

As this storm works up through the southeastern United States and into the Ohio and Mississippi Valley, we will see an increase in cloud cover through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend.
Due to the system’s size, cloud cover will increase once it makes landfall on Thursday night.
Weekend forecast
Thanks to Helene’s remnants, there will be plenty of moisture to work with, and we will keep the chance of a few scattered showers in the forecast through the weekend and early next week.
We are not expecting widespread rainfall or a lot of rain as we will be experiencing the fringe effects of low pressure in this area.
But the cloud cover will help keep temperatures down, remaining in the 70s looking ahead through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend.
Next week
A cold front will swing through on Tuesday. There will be a chance of showers in the morning on Tuesday before we dry things out into the afternoon.
High temperatures remain out of the 70s until early next week before another cooldown is coming.
We return to more sunshine by mid-next week, and high temperatures will drop into the 60s by Wednesday.
