Showers and a few thunderstorms will impact Metro Detroit on Saturday evening and night. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rain and wind gusts up to 40 mph as they move east at 40 mph.
Under cloudy skies, rain showers will be possible through the night. Lows will be around 50 degrees in Monroe and Grosse Ile, upper 40s in Detroit, Dearborn and Livonia, and mid 40s in West Bloomfield, Troy, Macomb Township, Clinton Township and Port Huron. Non-thunderstorm winds will be out of the east-northeast at 8 to 12 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
Sunday
A few rain showers will stick around for Sunday morning, but showers and thunderstorms are likelier in the afternoon and evening. As seasonable weather returns, highs will be around 60 degrees in Adrian, Monroe and Flat Rock, while temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50s in Ypsilanti, Canton, Farmington Hills, Detroit, Shelby Township and Lapeer. Northeasterly winds will be 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. Lows will range from 40 to 45 degrees with warmer temperatures in Downtown Detroit and cooler temperatures near Ann Arbor, Howell, Pontiac and Metamora.
Monday
Prepare for a chance of showers Monday, especially during the morning commute. Dress for cooler air that will push into Southeast Michigan. Highs will only be in the lower mid 50s, which is typical of late October and early November. Lows will fall into the 30s. Some areas will have patchy frost.
