4Warn Weather – After a quick break in the current season, summer-like temperatures will be replaced by a more seasonal feel in the air.
In addition, a couple of light showers will be possible through the evening.
Anything falling after sunset will be fairly spotty across the area, and it should end after midnight Tuesday night.
Temperatures overnight will drop into the middle 50s.
Wednesday forecast
Another drip or drop can’t be ruled out on Wednesday, but most, if not all, stay dry for the middle day of the week.
Friday forecast
A much better chance for showers returns Friday with a more robust system fueled by more moisture.
Showers are expected Friday during the later morning and afternoon hours. The hope is that we are dry for high school football, but this part of the forecast will need to be fine-tuned over the next couple of days.
We’re also going to see cooler temperatures return as well. Highs through the early part of next week following Wednesday will be on the other side of 60°, which is where we should be this time of the year.
Weekend forecast
The weekend looks good and dry, but it will be cooler, so if you have any plans to be out and about this weekend, make sure you grab your jackets.
