4Warn Weather – Clear skies and cold temperatures are expected, with patchy frost. After some sunshine and more fall-like temperatures throughout the day on Thursday, we’ve got a wet end of the week, with rain showers moving across the region.
Friday
Expect the clouds to increase overnight Thursday night into early Friday morning, with rain showers developing before sunrise on Friday morning. Overnight lows are dropping into the 40s for everybody.
Once this cold front moves through, the rain shower should end around lunchtime, and cloud cover will start to decrease as we move through the late afternoon and evening hours on Friday night.
As of right now, high school football looks to be dry after the rain in the morning. The high temperature is going below average into the 50s, looking ahead to the weekend.
High pressure will build into the region, giving us plenty of sunshine over the weekend before another warming trend heads our way next week.
Next week
With a strong system heading our way by the end of next week, winds will be breezy throughout the day on Tuesday and Wednesday.
High temperatures warming into the 60s on Monday, then load them mid-70s on Tuesday and Wednesday
Halloween forecast
An early look at the Halloween forecast shows a chance of rain showers on Halloween but no thunder. The high temperature will remain unseasonably warm, reaching the low 70s by Thursday afternoon.
