Soggy start to seasonal weekend in Metro Detroit

Morning showers give way to clearing skies later today

4Warn Weather – Grab an umbrella this morning and plan for a wet morning commute.

Low pressure extending from the Midwest into northern Ontario brings showers to Southeast Michigan this morning that will push eastward and clear the area by the lunch hour thanks to a cold front this afternoon.

Morning showers will give way to clearing skies later today with seasonal highs around 60. Winds will get a little breezy by this evening. The front and inbound high pressure will continue to bring seasonal temperatures and dry weather for the weekend.

Sunset is at 6:36 p.m.

Expect sunshine and near-average high temperatures this weekend, mainly in the mid to upper 50s. Warmer, windy weather makes a comeback next week with 70s Tuesday and Wednesday. Looking like it will be rainy and breezy on Halloween, but warm! Highs could still be around 70.
