Weekend sunshine gives way to warmer & windy conditions in Metro Detroit next week

Seasonable temperatures in the 50s will bring back more 70s with the windy conditions next week

Winds will be gusting early next week in excess of 30-35 MPH for a few days with warm temperatures (WDIV)

4Warn WeatherSATURDAY: Mostly sunny skies. High: 57. Winds: Northwest 5-15 MPH with gusts as high as 20 MPH.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. Low: 33. Winds: Calm winds.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies. High: 58. Winds: Southwest 3-6 MPH.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. Low: 38. Winds: South 3-6 MPH.

After some sunshine to end the week, we will keep the dry weather around, looking ahead into the upcoming weekend.

For Saturday, lots of sunshine can be expected with reasonable temperatures throughout the day. High temperature is heading for the upper 50s by Saturday afternoon.

Overnight tonight, mainly clear skies can be expected, and we will cool things down pretty quickly tonight with most of us heading into the load of mid 30s, we could see another frost and or freeze as we’re waking up early Sunday morning.

High pressure will continue to control the forecast through the weekend and into early next week, that means we will see more sunshine Sunday and early next week on Monday.

High temperatures remaining into the upper 50s on Sunday afternoon, will give way to the low 60s looking ahead into early next week on Monday.

A chance of showers as possible on Tuesday, with a disturbance moving through the region. The data differs on the placement of the rain showers, some of us may not see them, but until the data comes into better agreement, I am going to keep a chance of rain showers into the forecast on Tuesday.

A stronger system moves into the region by the time we look ahead into Halloween on Thursday, and with the strong pressure gradient between that system and high pressure, we will see windy conditions move in for Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds could be gusting as high as 30 to 35 miles an hour Tuesday and Wednesday.

High temperature is also warm up looking heading into the middle of next week as well. Multiple days in the middle of next week with high temperatures end of the 70s, cool things down into the 50s behind that strong cold front looking head into Thursday night, with those 50s on the way by the end of next week on Friday.
