What latest Metro Detroit weather models say about rain chances on Halloween

DETROIT – You‘ll want to hold on to your witch’s hat on Thursday as wind gusts reach around 45 mph. On the bright side, Halloween will likely get the low 70s.

Watch the full forecast in the video above.

There‘s also a chance for scattered showers, but we‘re keeping a close eye on it as it’s likely to hit from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 31. So, the 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. window would be the best bet for trick-or-treating in your neighborhood.

It shouldn‘t be a shock for rain as we have had precipitation in the last two years, and sometimes it has snowed. Luckily, there’s no snow in the forecast for Halloween night.
