Clouds to start Wednesday before sunshine, cooler temperatures move into Metro Detroit

The dry weather sticks around into the end of the week and start of the upcoming weekend

4Warn Weather – After clouds and scattered rain showers for Election Day, along with a new record high temperatures being set at Metro Airport on Tuesday, we will see cooler changes move into the region for the middle of the week on Wednesday.

Once this frontal boundary moves through the region this morning, we will dry things up, looking ahead into the second half of the week. Cooler temperatures will move in as well through the end of the week with highs dropping into the 50s by the time we get to Thursday.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy in the morning, decreasing clouds throughout the day, skies becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. Cooler temperatures. High: 67. Winds: West 5-15 MPH with gusts as high as 20 MPH.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. Low: 43. Winds: West 5-15 MPH.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny skies. High: 59. Winds: North 3-6 MPH.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear skies. Low: 39. Winds: Northwest 3-6 MPH.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies. High: 61.

We keep some sunshine into the forecast, looking ahead into the end of the week and start of next weekend, before another chance of rain showers moves into the region looking ahead into the end of next weekend on Sunday. Mild temperature sticking around into the upcoming weekend as well with high temperatures in the low 60s on Saturday, warming into the mid 60s by Sunday.

The drier weather will continue looking ahead into the start of next week on Monday for Veterans Day. Expect partly cloudy skies, temperatures still remaining above average. High temperatures heading into the lower 60s by Monday afternoon.

The dry stretch of weather continues into the middle of next week on Tuesday as well, high temperatures are expected to remain into the upper 50s and lowers 60s into the afternoon.
