Rainy Thursday across Southeast Michigan

Gradual warming trend through the weekend

4Warn Weather – It’s a soggy start! Grab your umbrella. As a low pressure system moves into Lower Michigan from our west, plan for rounds of showers throughout much of the daylight hours today.

Seasonably cool today with widespread rain. Highs will range in the upper 40s to around 50. Most of the rain pushes to the northeast mid-afternoon, but we can’t rule out a few isolated, stray showers on the back edge of the low tonight.

Sunset is at 5:12 p.m.

Mostly cloudy skies will hold into Friday with any lingering sprinkles ending early. Mild to end the work week with Friday high temperatures in the lower 50s. The fourth and final “supermoon” of 2024 will be on Friday, but the best time to see it will be as it rises in the east on Saturday about 30 minutes after sunset. Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s by the end of the weekend.
