From soggy to foggy with a slightly warmer weekend ahead in Metro Detroit

Rain chances rise next week

4Warn Weather – It’s a gloomy start and will be a gray day. With clouds hanging around today, spotty sprinkles or very light showers can’t be ruled out. There will be a very minimal rise in temperatures today, so what you are waking up to is close to how it will feel this afternoon.

Otherwise, mainly dry and mild conditions are expected today through Sunday. Overcast with highs around 50 this afternoon. Lows will drop to either side of 40 tonight.

Sunset is at 5:11 p.m.

The fourth and final “supermoon” of 2024 is expected to reach its peak today at 4:29 p.m., but the best time to see it will be as it rises in the east on Saturday about 30 minutes after sunset.

This Weekend

High temperatures will be warmer than averages for mid-November, reaching the low 50s today and Saturday, then warming into the mid and upper 50s for Sunday. Skies will be mostly cloudy today, partly sunny on Saturday and cloudy again on Sunday.

Next Week

Temperatures will stay above average into early next week. An active pattern develops across the country next week which will bring us multiple chances for rain.
