Clouds stay through weekend as rain chances return to Metro Detroit

Above normal temps for next several days in Southeast Michigan

This weekend’s weather will continue to be gloomy in Metro Detroit.

Saturday night’s skies will be mostly cloudy. Lows will be around 40 degrees. Southeasterly winds will be 4 to 8 mph.

Sunday

Sunday will be a few degrees warmer, but it will be cloudy with the chance of a couple of rain showers. The Thumb will have a chance of a stray shower in the morning. Then, the slight chance of showers will move over Metro Detroit during the evening.

Lions tailgaters will have temperatures in the 40s in the morning. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 50s.

Plan for the possibility of a shower or two Sunday night. Lows will be around 40 degrees.

Monday

Monday, expect to see the return of some sunshine. Finally, we will have partly cloudy skies again. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s. Lows will be in the lower to mid 40s.

Tuesday

Widespread rain will move into Southeast Michigan predawn Tuesday. Highs will be in the upper 50s to 60 degrees. It will be rainy and windy for most of the day. Lows will be in the lower to mid 40s.

Through Friday

Be prepared for rain chances for the remainder of the workweek. High temperatures will cool slightly on Wednesday into the lower 50s. By Thursday, highs will be in the mid 40s.
