4Warn Weather – Buckle up! Mother Nature is about to go on a wild ride. Patchy fog will impact southeastern Michigan during the morning commute today. The lowest visibilities are around Metro Airport down to the state line. Give yourself a few extra minutes on the roads.
Temperatures will top out early today, close to 50 around the lunch hour. Widespread showers move through our area early this afternoon. Behind that, temperatures will tumble this evening as winds pick up giving us blustery wind chills at or below freezing. You might even see a snowflake or two mix in with the rain late this afternoon in the Thumb.

Set your alarm clock a little early for tomorrow as the morning commute will possibly be slick. Scattered to numerous snow showers are possible early tomorrow morning for the Thursday morning drive. Widespread wind chills will be in the 20s. Snow accumulations of dusting to 1 inch is possible, although likely on the lower end, but locations west of U.S 23 stand the best chance of exceeding one inch. We will dry out briefly on Thursday with more rain in the forecast on Friday. Mainly dry weather for the weekend as highs stay in the seasonal 40s.
