4Warn Weather – After a dry day with colder temperatures across the region, we will keep the dry weather in the forecast overnight.
The clouds will also stick around overnight, overnight Lowe’s dropping into the low 30s.
Wednesday
Our next low-pressure system works in the region, and we are looking ahead to Wednesday in the middle of the week.
The majority of the system looks to be snow, but as the temperature is warm into the mid to upper 30s, we may see some rain showers mixed in with it, especially along and south of Interstate 696.
Most places will see an inch or less of snow accumulation throughout the day.
Thursday
Dry weather moves back in Wednesday night and sticks around for most of the day on Thursday before more impactful system move into the region Thursday night and into the end of the week on Friday.
Friday
We expect snow to develop Thursday night after mid to late evening and stick around overnight through most of the day on Friday.
This one could bring some snow that we might have to move. Early indications are that we could see anywhere from half an inch to up to two inches of snow in some locations.
High temperatures heading to right around the freezing mark by Friday afternoon, after starting off into the mid 20s early in the morning.
Weekend forecast
Then, looking ahead into the weekend we do get some sunshine on the way to the region.
But, with the sunshine also comes another arctic outbreak heading our way.
High temperatures throughout the weekend will only head into the middle 20s, with overnight lows well into the teens before temperatures start to moderate a little.
Next week
Looking ahead to early next week on Monday, High temperatures, heading back to right around the freezing mark by Monday afternoon.
