Our next chance of winter weather moves back into the region looking ahead into the start of next week, we will see another area of low pressure move towards the region, and that will overspread snow and a wintry mix into the region Monday. While most of the region starts off as snow, as warmer air moves into the region, we will see this change over to a wintry mix looking ahead into Monday afternoon and evening in areas along and south of M-59.

There is the potential for at least a few inches of snow accumulation along and North of M-59, and some data is suggesting that there could be more snow in these areas as the situation unfolds on Monday.

These areas could see up to an inch of snow accumulation in addition to a light accumulation of sleet/freezing rain. High temperature is warming into the middle 30s by Monday afternoon, staying below or near freezing along and North of M-59.

Then, dry weather sticks around, looking ahead into Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for Tuesday and Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies can be expected both days, high temperatures continuing to warm, into the upper 30s both days.
