DETROIT – Scattered light showers before daybreak today. Clouds will linger along with milder air.
Slightly warmer today with highs in the mid-40s. Rain chances increase late this afternoon and overnight as a low pressure system tracks into the region. Attached to that low is a warm front that will have temperatures rising tonight through tomorrow.
Sunset is at 5:08 p.m.
Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 50s Saturday. A stronger low pressure system arrives Sunday, bringing another round of widespread rainfall to the area with highs around 50. We will then begin a gradual cool down as colder arrives by New Year’s Eve and into the New Year. We could see another round of rain on Tuesday changing to a rain/snow mix on New Year’s Eve night.
