DETROIT – We sprung the clocks forward on Sunday and the temperatures have followed suit. A warming trend continues today, with highs peaking near 60 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Dry through the week with the next chance of showers arriving Friday night ahead of the next low pressure system. Lows tonight will be closer to what average highs are as we bottom out in the low 40s.
Tuesday
Turning slightly cooler Tuesday as a dry cold front lifts across the region. Increasing clouds, but dry with highs in the 50s. It will be slightly breezy. Much cooler Tuesday night with lows in the upper 20s.
Wednesday
The coolest day this week arrives on Wednesday with highs in the seasonal 40s. Lows on Wednesday night will be in the mid-30s.
Later this week
Another warming trend emerges later this week bringing temperatures well above average both Thursday and Friday. In fact, we could be close to 70 by Friday and Saturday! Winds will pick up and rain chances return Friday night into Saturday.
