It was a very “wintry” start to the first full day of Spring with rain and snow showers over most of the region, but we will see some drier weather moves into the region looking ahead into the end of the week.

Dry weather builds in for the end of the week on Friday, expect a mixture of sunshine and clouds throughout the day, before increasing cloud cover Friday evening in advance of a chance of rain and snow showers moving in late Friday night into early on Saturday morning. High temperatures heading back into the lower 50s by Friday afternoon.

Majority of the weekend is dry, before another chance of rain moves into the forecast late Sunday night, and will hold onto a slight chance of rain showers early next week on Monday, but majority of the day should stay dry. With colder air moving into the region, we will keep the chance of some snowflakes North of Metro Detroit to start next week as well.

Cloud cover sticks around for the first part of next week before we do break up the cloud cover a little bit by Wednesday and bring some sunshine back into the forecast. High temperature is remaining a few degrees below average into the low and mid 40s for the first half of next week

Expect the cloud cover to hold tough looking ahead into next Thursday as well before we do see temperatures warm-up a bit by Thursday afternoon. High temperatures warming into the upper 40s to right around 50 degrees by Thursday.
