Residents face cold temps with rain, snow expected to arrive midweek in Metro Detroit

4Warn Weather – A little sunshine on Tuesday might have boosted your mood, but it certainly didn’t do much for our temps.

Most areas topped out in the upper 30s with an average high now at 56 degrees.

Overnight, partly cloudy skies will allow temps to drop into the 20s.

Midweek forecast

A cold start to Wednesday with increasing clouds throughout the day. Wednesday evening, rain will move in and mix with snow before midnight.

A few scattered, mostly rain showers for Thursday morning.

Weekend forecast

Highs stay in the 40s until Friday, when we finally hit 50 degrees.

Back to normal temps Saturday in the mid-50s before climbing well into the 60s both Sunday and Monday.
