After some sunshine working throughout the day on Monday, we will see a little more sunshine move into the forecast looking ahead into our Tuesday, but with a few snowflakes possible as well.
A northwesterly flow will kick in as we work throughout our Tuesday, and this will keep us on the chilly side of the forecast with high temperatures for some of us struggling to get out of the 30s to right around 40 degrees. As we work into the afternoon and early evening hours, we will also see the chance of a few snowflakes move into the region as well, so don’t be surprised to see the flakes fly in some places today.
Our next system moves into the region late Wednesday and into Thursday. With a colder air mass in place late Wednesday, this could start off as yet another chance of rain and show showers, before temperatures warm into the 40s and we change this over to rain showers looking ahead into the day on Thursday.
High pressure will build into the region looking ahead into the end of next week, which will bring some much needed sunshine into the forecast. High temperatures warming up into the lower 50s by Friday and middle 50s by the time we start the weekend on Saturday.
Expect the sunshine to continue into the end of the weekend on Sunday as well. Temperatures getting even warmer, actually going above average as we head into the lower 60s by Sunday afternoon.
The warming trend continues into the start of next week as well, expect partly cloudy skies with high temperatures heading for the mid to upper 60s. We will bring in a chance of rain showers as well by the time we get to early next week.
