4Warn Weather – Pleasant conditions stick around as we start the weekend, but we’ll end it with potentially a few raindrops and warmer temperatures.
For the rest of this Friday, skies remain clear as temperatures drop near freezing overnight.
Weekend forecast
Many outside the city will dip into the 20s by daybreak Saturday.
The weekend starts off nice with lots of sunshine on Saturday and highs in the mid-50s.
We may tick numbers up just a notch Sunday, but more clouds will be around to end the weekend.
Some data suggest these clouds are squeezing out a drop or two on Sunday, but these chances look pretty slim.
The better chance for rain comes Monday as a cold front moves through the area.
Next week
Before the cold front brings us colder temperatures, we warm into the middle, perhaps upper 60s, on Monday.
On the back side of the Monday front, we see colder air move in on Tuesday and the chance for a couple of lingering rain or snow showers.
The chances for this are really better to our north, but we can’t rule them out here in southeast Michigan.
A much better shot for rain returns Thursday night into Friday of next week.
However, at this point, it looks like most of this rain looks to fall while most of us are asleep during the overnight hours.
