4Warn Weather – Tuesday is kind of like the bottom of the barrel in terms of temperatures as we’re well below normal for this time of the year. However, warmer temperatures are on the way, but at a cost.
For the rest of this Tuesday, skies remain mostly cloudy with perhaps a couple more drops or flakes squeezing out occasionally.
Though most of us should be dry, temperatures eventually drop to around freezing overnight, with some spots dipping into the upper 20s.
Midweek forecast
The next few days are nicer and warmer as well. We’ll see more sunshine through Thursday, with highs getting into the 50s on Wednesday and then close to 60 by Thursday.
Weekend forecast
Friday is when changes return in the form of much warmer air and rain. Highs will be in the 70s on Friday, which is above normal for this time of the year.
The trade-off, though, is that it brings with it rain... and it may be in two batches.
The first round of rain looks to be here Friday morning and in the early afternoon.
The second round of rain and a few storms will arrive overnight Friday into Saturday.
This overnight round of storms comes with a cold front that brings us cooler temperatures and the chance for stronger storms.
A few of these showers may still be around Saturday around daybreak, but the rest of the Easter weekend looks better.
This weekend, we’ll have partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 60s and upper 50s.
