DETROIT – Much colder air returns to the region today. As we wake up in the 40s, temperatures will steadily stay in the 40s today but we turn blustery as wind gusts increase to near 40 mph through the afternoon. Due to wind chills falling into the 30s, a scattered mix of rain and snow showers will be possible through late morning and early afternoon.
Midweek
Dry weather moves in Wednesday and temperatures rebound close to average through Thursday with highs in the 50s. Sunshine will also work its way in both days before rain chances return Friday.
Holiday Weekend
Rain is likely on Good Friday as highs flirt with 70 again. We can’t rule out a few embedded thunderstorms. A lingering shower is possibly early Saturday, especially before daybreak. Otherwise, we dry out and stay dry on Easter Sunday with seasonal temperatures on either side of 60 through the weekend.
