4Warn Weather – Wednesday was a much nicer day, but it was still a touch below normal. That all changes Thursday when we begin a brief but intense warm-up.
Thursday
Thursday starts out cold but ends with temps in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees, which is normal for this time of year.
Friday
On Friday, our temperatures soar as a warm front ushers in the warmest air of the season.
The highest temperature recorded until now is 74 degrees. But Friday’s high could easily reach 77, if not warmer!
There will be a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm early in the morning, but it will be dry and very warm for most of the day.
Weekend forecast
The cold front doesn’t swing through until overnight Friday into Saturday morning. That’s when we have a chance for thunderstorms, some of which could be strong to severe.
A shower is possible before 8 a.m. Saturday, otherwise, it’ll just be drier and cooler. The second half of Easter Sunday now brings a chance of rain.
Let’s talk about it at 11 p.m.
