DETROIT – Additional light rain showers will linger today, but not as widespread and heavy as Thursday. Otherwise, cloudy and slightly cooler with highs in the upper 60s.
This weekend
A more noticeably cooler airmass builds in this weekend in the wake of a cold front and rain chances will stick around as a low pressure system stalls over the Ohio Valley. We should be mainly dry on Saturday, but a cool day with highs around 60 and clouds hanging around. Any showers returning on Sunday afternoon will be on the lighter side, but will likely hinder temperatures from reaching 60 degrees.
Next week
Warmer weather will build back in with highs reaching the 70s by midweek. However, an occluded front could bring rain chances Monday afternoon. There will be a chance for a few showers on Tuesday before turning drier for the second half of the week.
