4Warn Weather – Summer-like weather with heat and storms returns to Metro Detroit on Thursday.

Wednesday

Overnight Wednesday, a few showers and a rumble of thunder are not out of the question.

But these showers will not be widespread, and many areas will stay dry with a low of 60 degrees.

Thursday

Sunshine and warm weather are expected on Thursday with a high of 80.

At this point, it looks like we will start tracking storms around 11 p.m. on Thursday and continue to have the potential for severe weather until around 3 a.m.

Friday

Friday dries out and warms up with highs in the low 80s.

Next week

Cooler weather returns by the end of next week.
