Showers to taper off by the afternoon

DETROIT – Grab an umbrella! It’s a rainy start across Southeast Michigan.

We will be drying out from north to south late this morning into the afternoon. Highs will struggle to reach 70 today.

Metro Detroit will be dry tonight through Saturday, except for a slight chance of showers near the Ohio state line Friday.

Friday

Temperatures in the seasonal mid-to-upper 70s are expected on Friday with drier conditions. There is a slight chance for a shower in our far southern communities close to Ohio.

Weekend

High pressure will bring us a seasonal Saturday and Sunday. As of right now, a mix of sun and clouds will be on tap with highs in the upper 70s,

Rain chances return Sunday night through Monday with slightly below average temperatures in the 70s.
