DETROIT – We will be swapping the umbrella for sunglasses today. Relatively dry today with a slim chance for a light shower. Otherwise, mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid-70s. A little breezy today with gusts between 20-25 mph out of the west. We are starting the day with much better air quality, but by later today the westerly wind will likely bring a thicker smoke layer.

Turning hot and hazy midweek. Much warmer weather is expected on Wednesday with highs well into the 80s.
Thursday
Highs will be around 80 with off and on showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon through Saturday.
Weekend
Highs will be in the mid-70s both Friday and Saturday with rain chances. Drier on Sunday with seasonal highs in the upper 70s.
