The cooldown commences.
Southeast Michigan will have slightly cooler temperatures and rain chances on Thursday. The rain showers will mainly impact areas north of I-69 during the day, but an isolated shower cannot be ruled out in the Tri-Counties region of Metro Detroit.
Thursday’s temperatures will peak in the upper-70s to 80 degrees, which is normal and cooler than Wednesday’s weather. Expect winds out of the east and east-northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday night will bring mostly cloudy skies and the chance of rain showers and a rumble of thunder to Metro Detroit. Lows will be in the mid-50s to 60 degrees.
Friday will bring additional rain chances with scattered showers. Some locations will be able to dodge the rain. Highs will be in the mid-70s.
