Rain chances? Yes, but limited
Rain showers will be possible in Southeast Michigan on Friday, but the chance will mainly concern communities near and south of I-94.

While Metro Detroit will be cooler than normal, the region will still manage to get into the mid-70s in the afternoon. The chance for rain showers will be in the afternoon and evening. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10 mph.
Planning to watch the fireworks shows at Canton’s Liberty Fest or the Redford Community Festival? Temps will be in the mid-60s. A couple of showers may be in the area, but outdoor plans should be able to proceed.
The chance for rain showers will continue into Friday night. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy. Expect lows in the mid-50s to 60 degrees.
Saturday
Saturday, which is Flag Day, will bring comparable temperatures to Southeast Michigan. A few rain showers will be possible in the morning. Clouds will decrease and give way to sunshine for the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower- to mid-70s. Lows will be in the upper 50s to 60 degrees. Winds will be out of the east-northeast at 8 to 14 mph.
Sunday
Have you made Father’s Day plans? Expect a splendid Sunday. Highs will back to normal, around 80 degrees, with partly cloudy skies.
It will get even hotter during the workweek.

- Friday: Highs around 75 degrees, a few rain showers possible
- Saturday (Flag Day): A few rain showers possible, high in mid-70s
- Sunday (Father’s Day): Pleasant, mostly dry, with a high around 80 degrees
- Monday: Partly cloudy and warmer again, with highs returning to the mid-80s
- Tuesday: Highs in the mid-80s, with a chance for showers or a stray thunderstorm
