4Warn Weather – After a nice end to the day on Saturday with sunshine and warmer temperatures, we will continue the trend of dry weather into the end of the weekend for Father’s Day.
Expect plenty of sunshine to end the weekend on Sunday, mostly sunny skies can be expected thanks to high pressure off to the North controlling the forecast. High temperatures will warm into the lower 80s by Sunday afternoon.
We keep the dry weather under the forecast, looking ahead into early next week on Monday. But we will bring a little more cloud cover into the forecast as well. High temperature is heading back into the lower 80s by Monday afternoon.
Chances for showers and thunderstorms roll back into the forecast starting on Tuesday, and continue into the middle of next week on Wednesday. High temperature is heading into the mid upper 80s both Tuesday and Wednesday. We will hold onto a chance of rain showers into the forecast looking ahead into Thursday, high temperatures, heading for the upper 70s to lower 80s by Thursday afternoon.
There is the potential for some strong to severe thunderstorms in the forecast by the middle of the week on Wednesday. The Storm Prediction Center has placed part of the region in a 15% risk in the Day 4 Severe Weather Outlook. A 15% risk would equate to a Slight Risk (2 out of 5) on our severe weather scale. We will continue to keep an eye on this as we work through the next few days.
Dry weather moves back into the forecast by the end of next week on Friday. Expect high temperatures back into the lower 80s by the time we get to the end of next week.
Chances for rain showers return to the forecast looking ahead into the start of next weekend on Saturday. High temperatures remaining warm, we head back into the upper 70s and lower 80s by Saturday afternoon.
