We could have one or two strong to severe thunderstorms on Saturday morning, but we should wind down the chances for showers and thunderstorms by mid to late morning tomorrow.
Then, we will dry things out through the end of the weekend and end of the start of next week. High pressure will firmly control the forecast, which means we will see high temperatures into the mid upper 90s and which factor in the humidity, heat index values will sore into the lower 100s.
Because of the high heat and humidity forecast, we have declared a 4Warn Weather Alert from Saturday through Wednesday due to the high heat and humidity each and every day.
Once we get to the middle of next week, we will watch a frontal boundary park itself over the region, and with the high heat and humidity already in place, this will bring the chance of a few scattered showers and thunderstorms each and every day. High temperatures remaining into the 90s for the middle of next week, before dropping into the upper 80s looking ahead into the end of next week.
