Here’s the most likely window for thunderstorms Wednesday in Metro Detroit

Primary window for storms is 2-6 p.m. Wednesday

DETROIT – There’s another chance of storms Wednesday in Metro Detroit, particularly in the afternoon and early evening.

Thunderstorms are possible across Southeast Michigan on Wednesday, but the best chance for strong storms will be south of I-94.

The primary window for storms is similar to what we saw Tuesday -- about 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Isolated showers and non-severe storms could linger through the evening, even beyond that main window.

Conditions remain warm and muggy, but cloud cover will drop the high temperatures into the low to mid-80s.

Rest of the Week

There are chances of thunderstorms again Thursday and Friday as we remain in an active pattern. The humidity will remain high through the week into the weekend. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s on Thursday and back to flirting with 90 on Friday.

Weekend

The weekend is shaping up to be drier and warmer than average. High temperatures will rise back to the upper 80s to 90 degrees Saturday and Sunday.

Early Next Week

Storms chances return on Monday with highs around 90.
