Monday night’s skies will be mostly clear with haze. Lows will be in the mid- to upper-60s.
Tuesday
The smoke is forecast to linger across the area into Tuesday, with improvement likely by late evening.

Tuesday’s temperatures will be around 90 degrees, under mostly sunny skies. UV levels will be high. Sunscreen will be needed. Air quality will be moderate to unhealthy for sensitive groups.
Midweek brings risk of strong storms
Be sure to regularly check the 4Warn Weather app. Scattered storms are expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday
A marginal (1 out of 5) risk level for severe storms stretches across Lower Michigan and covers cities like Milwaukee, Chicago, Omaha, and Kansas City on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper-80s, but the higher humidity will make it feel like the lower to mid-90s. Lows will be in the lower to mid-70s.
Thursday
A slow-moving front will keep the chance of storms around for Thursday. Highs will be in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s.
Next Weekend
After the storms move through Wednesday and into Thursday, much of Metro Detroit can anticipate some welcome relief.
Highs should gradually fall into the lower 80s as the week wraps up and the weekend begins. That is excellent news for anyone looking for a break from the heat.
