Thursday is bringing cooler and drier air to Southeast Michigan, but a morning rain shower is possible. The better chance of encountering raindrops will be north of I-69.
The mostly cloudy skies of the morning will begin to clear and give way to some sunshine. Highs will be around 80 degrees in Canton, Detroit, Ferndale, St. Clair Shores, and Sterling Heights. Highs will be in the mid-70s in Howell, Grand Blanc, Lapeer, Sandusky, and Port Huron. Winds will be out of the west-northwest at 5-15 mph. Gusts could reach 25 mph.

Clouds will continue to decrease Thursday night. Temperatures will cool into the mid-50s to 60 degrees.
Friday will be mostly sunny and pleasant, with reduced humidity. High will be in the upper-70s to 80 degrees. It will be Ideal for outdoor plans, such as patio dinners or jogging.
The humidity and storm chances will return for the weekend.
A few showers will be possible Saturday morning. Otherwise, showers and thunderstorms will be likely in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the lower- to mid-80s.
Plan morning activities early when skies are calmer. The afternoon storm risk may disrupt sports games or cookouts. have a backup indoor plan.
The chance of rain will continue into Saturday night. Expect lows in the upper-60s.
Sunday will be humid with a mix of sun and clouds. A couple of lingering morning rain showers are possible. Highs will be in the lower-80s. Besides the sticky air, it will be a good day for leisurely walks or bike rides.

Monday will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy and less humid. High will be in the lower-80s, and lows will be in the mid-60s.
Although it will be mostly cloudy Tuesday morning, sunshine will shine through high clouds later. It will warm into the mid- to upper-80s. An isolated rain shower or thunderstorm will be possible.
Then, Wednesday will bring heat, humidity, and the afternoon thunderstorms. Temperatures will peak around 90 degrees. Monitor forecasts and have an indoor backup.
