After a dry day on Friday evening for trick-or-treating for Halloween, we are bringing some wet weather back into the forecast for the start of the weekend, but it does not appear to be a washout.
We’re going to watch an upper-level disturbance roll into the region by the time we get to the start of the weekend on Saturday. That will keep the cloud cover around, and the chance for a few rain showers throughout the day as well. High temperatures remaining into the 50s by the time we get to the afternoon. Do not cancel your outdoor plans, just hold onto the umbrella just in case you get under one of the rain showers.
Drier weather works in by the end of the weekend on Sunday, we will keep a mixture of sunshine and clouds into the forecast. High temperatures remaining into the 50s by the time we get to Sunday afternoon.
Sunday Morning, we will also “Fall Back” as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end at 2:00 AM Sunday Morning. Don’t forget to set your clocks back 1 hour before you go to bed Saturday Night.
Looking ahead to the start of next week on Monday, we will bring the chance of rain showers back into the forecast, especially along and north of M-59. But we will also bring the breezy winds into the forecast to start next week as well. Expect winds gusting upwards of 30 to possibly 40 miles an hour for much of the day.
Drier weather moves in by the time we get to Tuesday, expect mostly sunny skies throughout the day. Temperatures remaining into the 50s by the time we get to Tuesday afternoon.
Another area of low pressure will move through the region for the middle of the week on Wednesday, and this will bring another chance of rain showers to the region. Again, this is not a widespread chance of rain showers, but we have to keep it into the forecast. Drier weather moves into the region for the day on Thursday, before we do the rain chances again. More rain chances move back into the region for the end of the week on Friday. High temperatures remaining in the 50s for the second half of next week.
