DETROIT – Happy Friday and happy weekend!
Sunshine through the first half of the day will give way to high clouds and breezy conditions as we head through this afternoon.
Highs in the low to mid 20s with winds eventually picking up after lunch SW 10-20 mph. That will add a definite bite to the air so make sure everyone is bundled up!
The weekend looks nice and warm with a warm front moving through Saturday.
But, we may also see a few snow showers and flurries around Saturday afternoon and/or early evening in spite of the news of a warm up.
Some of our northern counties could get a dusting and the rest of us won't see anything stack up.
Overall, it looks very dry overall around Metro Detroit over the next week.
Weekend highs should easily hit the mid to upper 30s, with plenty of 40s expected next week.
We may reach 45 to near 50 degrees by Tuesday or Wednesday.
